Changes to meal charging policy become
effective Feb. 9
Jan. 27, 2010—Effective
Tuesday, Feb. 9, the Voorheesville Central School District will be
implementing a few changes in its charging policy for students' meal
accounts. The following bullets summarize the changes that will be made.
-
Students will be allowed to charge
up to three meals, and they can only charge a Type A lunch. This
consists of the hot entree of the day, a sub wrap, hot dog or green
salad, accompanied with a daily side dish, fruit and milk.
-
After two meals have been charged,
the school will notify parents.
-
Students may not charge snacks once
an account carries a negative balance.
Parents may check their child's balance
online at
MyNutriKids.com, and sign-up for alerts when the account balance is
getting low.
We appreciate your assistance in keeping your child's meal account
current.
